A light turns on or off by itself

Updated yesterday

A light that switches on or off at the same time every day is almost always following a schedule: one you set and forgot, one that came over from the old app, or an example row that was switched on by accident.

Clear every schedule on the light

  1. Update the MOD LIGHTING app if it offers an update.
  2. Tap the light on Home to open its controller, then tap Schedule.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Remove all schedules.
  4. The app checks every place that can switch this light: its own schedules, schedules on its set, and automations aimed at it from the old app. It lists what it found. Tap Remove all.

That also removes schedules the list did not show. The two grey example rows stay, switched off; they only count once you switch one on.

Timers

A timer switches the light once when it ends. If the controller says "Counting down", tap Cancel to keep the light as it is.

Still happening
