Frequently asked questions about Linear Pendants

A long table wants a long light. One linear pendant covers the whole surface evenly, so nobody sits in a shadow at the far end, and it does it with a single clean line instead of a row of separate drops. Over a kitchen island it doubles as the task light.

What a linear pendant does

It solves the row. Three pendants over an island need spacing, alignment, and three boxes; one linear piece needs one box and reads as one gesture. The light runs the length of the surface, so the ends of the table are as bright as the middle, and the ceiling stays clean. Luka is a single LED bar at 100, 120, or 150 cm in black or copper. Sylas stacks 20, 30, or 40 light bars into one piece. Topaz sets crystal along a gold line in two sizes, Velina runs brass and alabaster in a straight line, and Alba hangs the same brass and alabaster over the island, both in two sizes.

How to choose the right size

Run the pendant about two-thirds of the surface's length: a 96-inch island or table takes Luka at 150 cm or a 40-bar Sylas, a 72-inch table takes the 120 cm or 30-bar version, and the smaller sizes suit a peninsula or a narrow table. Hang the bottom 30 to 36 inches above the surface, and center it on the surface, not the room. All five are tagged for 8 to 9-foot ceilings and for angled ceilings, and the drop is set at installation.

Styles and rooms across the range

Luka's bar suits a white kitchen or a minimal dining room; Sylas's stacked bars are the sculptural version, the one that reads from across an open plan. Topaz brings crystal to a formal table, and Velina and Alba bring stone to a wood one, with the rest of that family on the alabaster and stone pendants page. Where a table is round, the ring chandeliers do the same job in a circle, and the kitchen island pendants page holds every island option, linear or not.

All five are hardwired, warm white, and dim from the wall switch. Measure the surface, take two-thirds of it, and pick the bar or the shade that lands closest.
