Frequently asked questions about Ring Chandeliers
What size ring chandelier do I need?
What light quality does a ring chandelier give?
How high should a ring chandelier hang?
Should I choose gold or black?
Are ring chandeliers dimmable and hardwired?
A ring chandelier draws one clean line of light in the air. The circle reads as a shape first and a light second, which is why it sits so well in a room where the architecture is already doing the talking. Nothing dangles and nothing competes; the light comes from the ring itself.
What a ring chandelier does for a room
The form is the whole idea. A ring has no arms, no shades and no bulbs on show, so from across the room it reads as a drawn circle, and the ceiling around it stays quiet. It holds a dining table or a stairwell without adding clutter. The six here run from a single circle to stacked tiers. Ring is one gold halo at 60 or 80 cm. Aurelius bends steel into a sculptural loop, single or double layer, in jet black or polished gold. Charlotte stacks three to five rings in gold or black, Janet two to five in metallic gold or black ash on adjustable straps, and Janice sets crystal into each of its two to five gold rings. Skyla climbs to ten, fifteen or twenty rings for a double-height entry.
How to choose the right size
Over a table, size the ring to the table: half to two-thirds of its length, so a 72-inch table takes a 36 to 48-inch piece, hung 30 to 36 inches above the surface. Ceiling height decides how many rings you can stack: Ring is tagged for 8 to 9-foot ceilings, Janet for 9 to 10, and Charlotte, Janice, Aurelius and Skyla for 10 to 12. Keep 7 feet of clearance anywhere people walk.
Styles and rooms across the range
The dining room is the natural home: one ring over a round table, or a stacked piece centered on a long one. A stairwell takes Skyla, whose twenty rings need the height a hallway cannot give, and the staircase chandeliers range covers the same brief in crystal and LED tiers. Gold is the warmer read against wood and plaster; black draws the outline sharper against a white ceiling, and the black chandeliers page gathers every dark option. For crystal without the drop, the crystal chandeliers collection sits alongside.
Every one is hardwired and warm white, and all but Ring dim from the wall switch. Measure the table first, then choose the number of rings; where two sizes both work, the larger reads better from the doorway.
