Gold is the one finish MOD LIGHTING runs across every fixture type, so a single metal can carry a hallway, a dining table and a kitchen ceiling without repeating a shape. Chandeliers, pendants, ceiling lights, sconces and track lighting all appear here in gold.
The chandeliers run from clean rings to full crystal, with Athena stacking staggered tiers over a crystal ring in gold, small through extra-large. Over a table, Topaz sets gemstone-like crystals along a 35-inch linear run of brushed stainless steel. Bryce brings brushed gold onto a 16-inch flush ceiling light, and Harris does the same across one to five track heads.
Size overhead pieces with the room formula, length plus width in feet read as inches of minimum diameter, and hang a dining fixture 30 to 36 inches above the table. Mount sconces at 60 to 65 inches. For tone, match the gold to the metal already in the room: brushed gold sits matte and understated, metallic and polished golds run brighter.
Repeat the metal a few times and then stop, a gold chandelier over the table, gold pendant lights above the island, sconces on the walls at eye level. Mixing metals works when one leads, and gold with matte black is a dependable pairing. Gold flatters wood, marble and neutral palettes, which is why it suits living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms.
Start in the room where people gather, then let the same gold move outward one fixture at a time.
