Frequently asked questions about Crystal Ceiling Lights
What size crystal ceiling light do I need?
What light quality does a crystal ceiling light give?
How high does a crystal ceiling light sit?
Should I choose gold or black?
Are crystal ceiling lights hardwired and dimmable?
A low ceiling does not have to mean a plain one. Crystal held close to the ceiling still catches the light and throws it around the room; it just does it without anything hanging in the way. Bedrooms, hallways, and living rooms with eight-foot ceilings get the sparkle a chandelier would give them, at a height you never have to duck.
What crystal does close to the ceiling
The sparkle without the drop. A flush or semi-flush crystal piece sits within inches of the ceiling, so it clears a doorway and a tall guest, and the facets still scatter the light across the ceiling plane the way a chandelier scatters it across a room. Arina is a flush mount in gold, in four sizes from small to extra large. Elara pairs brass with crystal in a single size. Velora and Ventara are ceiling fans with a crystal shade, Velora in gold and Ventara in black with three color temperatures and remote dimming, so a bedroom gets air and sparkle from one box.
How to choose the right size
Add the room's length and width in feet and read the sum as inches of light, so a 12 by 14-foot bedroom takes a piece about 26 inches across, and Arina's four sizes cover a hallway up to a primary bedroom. Caught between two sizes, take the larger: under-sizing is the commoner mistake. All four are tagged for 8 to 9-foot ceilings and mount to the ceiling, and Elara is tagged for angled ceilings as well. A fan needs 7 feet from the floor to the blades.
Styles and rooms across the range
A flush crystal piece suits a bedroom, a hallway, a walk-in closet, or a dining room under a low ceiling, and sits with the wider crystal chandeliers range where the ceiling is taller. The fan versions belong in a bedroom or a covered porch with height to spare, alongside the rest of the ceiling fan lights. For every low-ceiling option in one place, the flush mount ceiling lights page sits alongside.
All four are hardwired and mount to the ceiling. Arina dims from the wall switch and Ventara from its remote, and Arina, Elara, and Velora run warm white. Measure the room, then take the larger size.
