Solar Serenity for Eco-Friendly Appeal

Looking for sustainability without sacrificing style? Solar lights are a great option, especially when plug access is limited. From solar lanterns to flush mount LEDs, these fixtures charge during the day and automatically illuminate at night. Skye combines modern elegance with solar-powered functionality, delivering focused, downward illumination through a sleek, weatherproof design. Exceptionally durable and easy to install, Skye is ideal for pergolas, garden-adjacent structures, and remote seating nooks. Plus, with no ongoing energy costs, these lights are as economical as they are beautiful.

Architectural Focus with Mounted LEDs

For those seeking a more permanent lighting solution, consider mounted LED lights along pergola beams, columns, or flooring. Designed for safety and performance, these fixtures offer directed lighting that highlights architectural details and provides practical visibility. Rae brings effortless elegance to this setup with its clean lines, black stainless steel frame, and clear glass panels—casting a warm, inviting glow that enhances both ambiance and function. Ideal for illuminating walkways, built-in benches, or lounging areas, Rae combines timeless appeal with weather-resistant durability, making it a lasting addition to your outdoor space.

Ambient Magic with Festoon & String Lights

Outdoor string lights and festoon lights remain a popular choice for those seeking a softer, romantic ambiance. Drape them casually across the beams or crisscross overhead to create a canopy of light. For a cohesive design, opt for waterproof, warm-glow bulbs specifically designed for outdoor use. Their gentle glow flatters any outdoor space—from cozy garden corners to full-sized backyard pergolas. Zip ties or stylish mounting clips keep wires tidy and secure, even in changing weather. This setup pairs beautifully with lanterns or candles placed at table height, or with Beam—our solar-powered basket-style light that radiates a golden hue and elegant charm—for a layered ambiance that elevates any outdoor gathering.

Ribbon Lighting for a Clean, Contemporary Edge

If your pergola leans modern, LED strip lights like Haylen are a sleek, minimalist option that wraps cleanly along beams or edges. These slim, energy-efficient fixtures offer exceptional control over brightness and color temperature, allowing you to dial in a warm white glow or a cooler tone depending on the evening’s vibe. With the right LED transformer and remote control, these lights can become a long-lasting feature in your outdoor area, seamlessly integrated with minimal visible wires. Their small L-shaped housing ensures a flush fit that feels architectural rather than ornamental.

Lanterns, Layers, and a Warm Welcome

If your design leans more classic or rustic, layered lighting with lanterns and fairy lights can bring dimension and charm. Use a combination of mounted lanterns along the pergola’s frame, flickering LED candles on surfaces, and suspended fairy lights above. This multi-source approach creates visual interest and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to linger. Choose waterproof, plug-in or battery-powered options with warm white tones to enhance the natural surroundings. This setup also works beautifully in gazebos or other outdoor structures where sight lines and ambiance are equally important.
