A dining room chandelier has one job that no other fixture in the house shares: it has to look considered from four different rooms at once while still doing the practical work of lighting a table where people actually eat. This roundup gathers 17 chandeliers from MOD Lighting's current collection, organized by the style direction each one serves best, with real prices, finishes, and sizing details pulled straight from the product pages. If you're still narrowing down a direction, our dining room lighting ideas gallery is a good place to look before you commit. If you already know your table dimensions and ceiling height and just want the sizing math, our full buying guide walks through it step by step. Everything below is drawn from fixtures currently listed in the MOD dining room lighting collection.
The dining room chandelier is visible from the entryway, the kitchen, and often the living room, which means it carries more design weight than almost any other single fixture in the home. Before style enters the conversation, three things need to be right: scale relative to the table, a finish that agrees with the room's existing metals, and a shape that follows the table's own shape: linear fixtures for rectangular tables, round or tiered designs for round and square ones.
As a starting reference, MOD's sizing rule puts chandelier width at 50 to 75 percent of table width: a 72-inch table calls for a fixture between 36 and 54 inches across. The full formula, including hanging height and ceiling-height adjustments, is in our dining room chandelier buying guide; the shortlist below assumes you have a rough size target already and are now comparing looks.
Every chandelier on this list reads differently depending on how the room gets used. A fixture chosen for how it photographs on a quiet Tuesday morning can feel wrong on a night when twelve people are gathered around an extended table. Before picking a style, it's worth asking how the room is actually used most often: everyday family meals, regular entertaining, or occasional formal dinners.
Everyday dining rooms tend to wear minimalist and Nordic-influenced designs well: fixtures that stay quietly beautiful under daily use without demanding attention. Rooms built around entertaining can carry more visual weight: crystal, alabaster, and sculptural multi-tier designs earn their keep specifically because they get seen by guests. This isn't a rule about budget; it's a rule about how often the room performs, and for whom.
Concentric rings suspended at slightly different heights or widths create a shape that reads as contemporary without tipping into stark minimalism. Both of these adjust to slanted ceilings, which matters more often than most buyers expect.
From $349.95AED 1,305.00$511.00 AUD$508.00 CAD€319.95 EUR£270.00 GBP$638.00 NZD
Janet is MOD's icon of the modern ring chandelier, and the case for it is simple: it works in almost every room in the house, dining rooms included, because each ring hangs on its own adjustable strap. That means the silhouette can be tightened for a low ceiling or loosened into a more dramatic cascade for a tall one. Available in brushed gold, matte black, and brass, with 2, 3, 4, or 5-ring configurations. From $349.95 (regularly $439.95).
From $564.95AED 2,107.00$825.00 AUD$819.00 CAD€514.95 EUR£435.00 GBP$1,027.00 NZD
Charlotte pushes the ring concept toward the formal end: three to five layered rings in a black-and-gold finish, built for dining rooms that want a genuine centerpiece rather than a background fixture. The two-tone contrast reads as more traditional than Janet while staying firmly in modern-chandelier territory. From $564.95 (regularly $709.95).
Glass globes strung along a linear bar, handmade in the Danish-modernist tradition. This is the direction for dining rooms that want warmth and texture without ornamentation.
From $399.95AED 1,491.00$582.00 AUD$579.00 CAD€360.95 EUR£306.00 GBP$723.00 NZD
Bailey is a handmade Scandinavian chandelier built from glass globes and metal elements, available with 7 or 10 orbs along its bar. It's designed specifically to bridge dining and living spaces with the same soft, ambient glow, which makes it a strong pick for open-plan homes where the dining chandelier is visible from the sofa. From $399.95 (regularly $499.95).
From $749.95AED 2,796.00$1,091.00 AUD$1,083.00 CAD€680.95 EUR£575.00 GBP$1,357.00 NZD
Hailey is Bailey's more luxurious sibling, built on the same Nordic bones with a more elevated finish and presence, also available in 7 or 10 orb configurations. It suits a dining room that wants the same relaxed Scandinavian language but with slightly more formality. From $749.95.
Alabaster diffuses light rather than simply casting it, which gives these two fixtures a warmer, softer glow than glass or crystal equivalents. Both pair solid metal frames with natural stone for a look that reads as quietly expensive rather than ornate.
From $1,199.95AED 4,474.00$1,761.00 AUD$1,729.00 CAD€1,086.95 EUR£918.00 GBP$2,170.00 NZD
Alba pairs solid brass with delicately layered alabaster panels in a brushed gold finish, available in small, medium, and large sizes. The sculptural, almost architectural silhouette works especially well in dining rooms with a warm-contemporary material palette: wood tones, linen, unlacquered brass. From $1,199.95.
From $1,299.95AED 4,846.00$1,890.00 AUD$1,882.00 CAD€1,177.95 EUR£997.00 GBP$2,351.00 NZD
Seraphine takes the alabaster concept further: layered rings of natural alabaster set in a stainless-steel and brushed-gold frame, in small, medium, and large sizes. It casts a warmer, more ambient glow than most chandeliers on this list, which makes it a strong choice for dining rooms used mostly for slower, evening meals. From $1,299.95.
For dining rooms built around entertaining, crystal earns its place: it catches light from every angle and reads as a genuine occasion piece rather than a fixture chosen purely for function.
$274.95AED 1,025.00$400.00 AUD$398.00 CAD€249.95 EUR£211.00 GBP$497.00 NZD
Jana is a shimmering rose-gold ring chandelier adorned with crystal detailing, a softer, warmer take on crystal than the classic clear-and-silver combination, well suited to a dining room with blush, brass, or warm-metal accents. From $299.95, the most accessible crystal option on this list.
From $1,299.95AED 4,846.00$1,907.00 AUD$1,873.00 CAD€1,177.95 EUR£996.00 GBP$2,351.00 NZD
Janice is a K9-crystal ring chandelier in gold, available in 2, 3, 4, or 5-ring configurations built from stainless steel and premium crystal. It's designed as a foyer or formal-dining centerpiece and reads as the most classically luxurious option in this roundup. From $1,299.95.
From $999.95AED 3,728.00$1,460.00 AUD$1,447.00 CAD€901.95 EUR£767.00 GBP$1,808.00 NZD
Pixie takes a sputnik-style approach: a circular or oval frame in gold with radiating crystal and metal spokes, in medium and large sizes. It's the most sculptural of the three crystal options here, closer to a piece of art than a traditional chandelier, and works best in a dining room that can give it visual breathing room. From $999.95.

This is the largest group on the list because it's where MOD's dining room chandeliers do the most design work: five fixtures built to be the single most-discussed object in the room.
From $1,299.95AED 4,846.00$1,890.00 AUD$1,882.00 CAD€1,177.95 EUR£997.00 GBP$2,351.00 NZD
Aurelius is built from stainless steel and iron in a jet-black-and-gold finish, available across 5 sizes from a single small layer up to a larger multi-layer configuration. The two-tone material mix gives it a heavier, more architectural presence than the ring chandeliers earlier in this list. From $1,299.95 (regularly $1,629.95).
From $1,399.95AED 5,219.00$2,043.00 AUD$2,026.00 CAD€1,262.95 EUR£1,073.00 GBP$2,531.00 NZD
Angelica is a solid-brass chandelier with a brushed-gold finish and softly glowing opaline globes, available in round or rectangle base designs with 6, 8, or 10 lights. The rectangle configuration is one of the few genuinely linear options in this luxury tier, making it a natural fit for a long rectangular table. From $1,599.95.
From $999.95AED 3,728.00$1,460.00 AUD$1,447.00 CAD€901.95 EUR£767.00 GBP$1,808.00 NZD
Emma Chandelier is built in polished aluminum with a gold-and-pearl-black finish, its drum shades patterned with intricate glass detailing, in 6 or 8-light configurations. It blends mid-century structure with a more contemporary material palette than a traditional drum chandelier. From $999.95.
From $1,149.95AED 4,287.00$1,678.00 AUD$1,664.00 CAD€1,036.95 EUR£882.00 GBP$2,079.00 NZD
Emma Hanging Chandelier is the taller sibling in the Emma family, with single or double-layer drum configurations and the same gold-and-pearl-black polished-aluminum finish. The double-layer version gives it noticeably more vertical presence, which suits dining rooms with higher ceilings. From $1,149.95.
From $879.95AED 3,281.00$1,284.00 AUD$1,276.00 CAD€800.95 EUR£677.00 GBP$1,599.00 NZD
Helia is one of MOD's most popular dining room chandeliers by the retailer's own account, and the range explains why: 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, or 35-light configurations in metallic gold, with each light on an individually adjustable wire. That range means Helia can scale from a modest dining nook to a genuinely large formal dining room without changing designs. From $879.95 (regularly $1,099.95).
The three fixtures in this group trade ornamentation for precision. They work especially well above rectangular tables, where a graphic, architectural shape does more for the room than a rounded one.
From $389.95AED 1,454.00$569.00 AUD$563.00 CAD€352.95 EUR£299.00 GBP$704.00 NZD
Kendall reinterprets the classic candle chandelier for a modern dining room: 12 adjustable candle-style arms in a dimmable, contemporary silhouette, with replaceable G9 LED bulbs. It's a way to bring a traditional dining room reference into a room with an otherwise modern material palette. From $389.95 (regularly $489.95).
$1,499.95AED 5,592.00$2,192.00 AUD$2,170.00 CAD€1,360.95 EUR£1,153.00 GBP$2,723.00 NZD
Arcade is the most architectural fixture on this list: two tiered squares in black ash or gold, suspended from a flush-mounted linear bar with LED edge lighting. It reads less like a chandelier and more like a piece of lighting sculpture, best suited to a dining room with a restrained, modern material palette that can give it room to be the focal point. From $1,499.95.
From $699.95AED 2,610.00$1,022.00 AUD$1,013.00 CAD€631.95 EUR£537.00 GBP$1,266.00 NZD
Ring pares the concept down to its simplest form: a single gold-plated circular pendant suspended on three adjustable wires, available in medium and large sizes. MOD's own product description calls out that it works well hovering over a dining area specifically, and at this price point it's an easy way to bring a minimalist chandelier into a smaller dining space. From $699.95.

Seventeen chandeliers is a wide net on purpose: dining rooms range from compact breakfast nooks to double-height formal spaces, and the right fixture for one is rarely right for the other. Start with your table width and ceiling height, use the sizing table above (or the full guide for the complete formula) to narrow the range, then let the style groupings above point you toward a finish and shape that fits how the room actually gets used. When you're ready to compare fixtures side by side, browse the full MOD dining room lighting collection for dimensions, finishes, and availability on every piece in this roundup.

Aim for a chandelier width equal to 50 to 75 percent of your table's width. A 72-inch table calls for a fixture between 36 and 54 inches across; when in doubt, size toward the wider end of that range rather than the narrower one.
